Full IP67 rated
The IP rating determines what level of protection a product has against the intrusion of solid objects, water, dust and liquids. The IP code has two digits. The first digit determines what level of protection the system has against solid foreign objects and the second digit covers liquids. This device is completely protected from ingress of heavy water and dust, or pre-defined immersion in water on all surfaces and sides. Also known as "6-way IP67 protection".
Ethernet/IP
EtherNet/IP is a communication protocol designed for use in process control and other industrial automation applications. EtherNet/IP is an application layer protocol treating devices on the network as a series of objects. EtherNet/IP is built on the Common Industrial Protocol for access to objects from ControlNet and DeviceNet networks. Not to be confused with standard Ethernet.
PROFINET
PROFINET (from process field network) is an industry-standard for data communication in automation technology. PROFINET links automation systems and controllers with decentralized field devices such as sensors, actuators, and encoders. PROFINET networks exchange data using Ethernet cable.
PoE
This device supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) which describes any of several standardised or ad-hoc systems which pass electrical power along with data on Ethernet cabling.
DNV
DNV (Stiftelsen Det Norske Veritas) is a Norwegian classification with the objective of "safeguarding life, property and the environment". The core competence of DNV is to identify, assess and advice on how to manage risk. This product passes strict DNV approvals and have been designed to be used specifically in the marine market.
CE
