CE is a mandatory standard for products on the market in the European Economic Area. By CE marking a product, the manufacturer ensures that the item meets the essential safety requirements set out in the applicable CE directive.
This product fully adheres to the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive 2002/95/EC, RoHS for short.  The directive covers the restriction of use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment and was adopted in February 2003 by the European Union.
VESA is a mounting standard for displays and systems and consists of four screws arranged in a square with the horizontal and vertical distance between the screw centres.
The IP rating determines what level of protection a product has against the intrusion of solid objects, water, dust and liquids. This device is IP65 protected at the front from ingress of water jets and dust. To offer complete all round protection the device should be mounted in a suitably protective enclosure or panel.
These devices and systems have been designed to accept a wide voltage DC power input. This feature is desirable in the industrial market where a fixed voltage level or mains AC power cannot be guaranteed.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is an independent agency of the United States government that sets standards and governs the testing of conducted and radiated emissions such as EMI.
These products utilise high quality industrial grade components enabling them to work in wide temperature environments. They are capable of running as low as -20C and as high as +70C.

The R10L100-VMP3 is a rugged 10.4” LCD display designed for vehicles and harsh industrial environments.

With a wide DC power input and operating temperature range, the R10L100-VMP3 is ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications.

The R10L100-VMP3 is available with 4 or 5-wire resistive touch screen, or a 3mm thick anti-reflective glass layer.
