Transcend leverages the leading-edge 5th generation 3D NAND flash technology in industrial storage products to provide more advanced performance at a competitive cost. Unlike the previous generation of technology which stacks memory cells to 96 layers, BiCS5 allows 112 layers of NAND flash to be vertically stacked in a three-bit-per-cell architecture (TLC). BiCS5 offers a 50% increase in density per wafer to the previous generation, higher density means higher capacity and lower cost per bit.

Transcend provides industrial-grade SSDs and DRAM modules that are built with 30µ” gold fingers, offering PCBs of these devices greater conductivity, and protection against oxidation, abrasion and chemical reactions. They are suitable for applications in the military, surveillance systems, factory automation, and transportation, where durability is indispensable.
