Uncompromising performance and reliability with Neousys’ range of vehicle-to-vehicle communication devices

Vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) technology explained

Vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication is automated vehicle technology designed to allow vehicles to ‘talk’ to one another using dedicated short-range communication (DSRC).

Some of the benefits of adopting Vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication include being able to overcome human errors and ultimately reduce road accidents which many government departments throughout the world have been adopting in order to reduce the number of traffic collisions.

V2V communication is one of the key components of the future of autonomous vehicle driving systems.

Benefits of Neousys in-vehicle computers

Customers looking to expand their in-vehicle capabilities will find Neousys in-vehicle solutions an ideal choice, and because wireless and internet access is becoming essential for most current in-vehicle applications, it’s no surprise that Neousys vehicle computers come equipped with four m.2/mPCIe sockets to accommodate a variety of wireless communication devices like 3 & 4G, WiFi and GPS modules.

Built-in CAN bus

CAN bus is a vehicle bus standard designed to allow microcontrollers and devices to communicate with an in-vehicle CAN bus system, individual ECUs or other automotive devices in applications without a host computer. Neousys VTC in-vehicle systems feature built-in CAN bus with bit rate support up to 1Mbps for both CAN 2.0A & CAN 2.0B.

With wide temperature operation, Neousys in-vehicle computers range from -25 to 70C whilst functioning under CPU load, whist also utilising low power consumption and featuring efficient system and module heat dissipation for superior operating stability and fanless operation.
