The GENE-5315 Rev. A sub-compact single board computer (SBC) balances performance and cost in the embedded market. The GENE-5315 Rev. A adopts an on-board AMD Geode LX800 500MHz processor with SODIMM DDR333/400 system memory up to 1GB. In addition.  It also supports a  Realtek RTL8139DL LAN controller supporting two 10/100Base-TX ports allowing flexible network connectivity.

The GENE-5315 Rev. A applies a Type III Mini PCI socket and PC/104 socket for board expansion. Additionally, four USB 2.0, IDE, RS-232, RS-232/422/485 and parallel ports are available on-board.
