The CP-138E-A-I is a smart PCI Express multiport serial board designed for POS and ATM applications and for use by industrial automation system manufacturers and system integrators. The CP-138E-A-I is compatible with all popular operating systems and each of the 8x serial ports supports data rates of up to 921.6kbps, providing full modem control signals, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of serial peripherals. In addition, the CP-138E-A-I works with PCI Express [x1], allowing the board to be installed in any PCI Express slot. Setting up an RS-485 network is relatively straightforward. The challenge comes when the power is turned on and the devices connected to the network start transmitting and receiving data. In most cases, engineers will need to further tune the system by configuring pull high/low resistors and terminators at strategic points along the network. Moxa’s new Intelligent RS-485 technology supports two essential features to make it easy: (1) One-Click Installation automatically analyzes the network topology and then adjusts terminators and pull high/low resistors. (2) One-Click Troubleshooting tells you what to change to make a deficient network viable. In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
