With over 25 years at Impulse, there isn't much Chris doesn't know about our industry and products. He heads up our Industrial Computing & Embedded Solutions divisions, working closely alongside our technical and sales teams to ensure the very best design and development support for customer projects.

Connor Richardson

Technical Support Engineer

Connor joined Impulse in 2022 and works within our Tech department, focusing on pre- and post-sales customer support. Since joining, Connor has developed a strong interest in networking and IIoT, building deep technical knowledge and a hands-on skill set.

Mark Searle

Production Manager

Mark manages our engineers and workshop, overseeing all production, configuration, build and testing processes. Working closely with our QA team, he ensures quality processes are met, provides additional technical support to sales, and manages our RMA returns system.

Andy Shaw

Senior Production Technician

Andy has been with Impulse for over 10 years and is one of our most experienced in-house system specialists, building industrial and embedded computing systems. He is also responsible for assembling and testing bespoke designed systems, and works as part of our production planning team.

Rex Cawaling

Production Technician

Rex joined Impulse in June 2021 and works with the production team in building, configuring and testing of industrial computers to the highest standard and customer specification. He also supports our call-off planning and production processes.

Kym Bentham

Production Technician

Kym joined Impulse early in 2023, bringing experience in building custom PCs. She has quickly familiarised herself with many of our products and is proving a valuable asset to our growing production team, supporting our scheduled order and call-off facilities.

Rhydion Gallo

Production Technician

Rhydion joined Impulse in 2023 and collaborates with the production team to build, configure, and test industrial computers to the highest standards. Previously an IT Repair Engineer, he brings experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of software and hardware products.

Chris Spooner

Chris joined our team in 2024 and has quickly become an integral part of our workshop. With a passion for computers and electronics and impressive self-taught skills, he contributes daily to the successful fulfilment of orders that come through our production floor.

Anthony Jackson

Production Technician

Anthony brings over 20 years of IT hardware and repair experience, ranging from building and configuring PCs and servers to repairing touchscreen monitors and other devices. He now supports system builds, testing, and production under Mark Searle.

Mark Donaldson

Production Technician

Mark brings experience repairing PCs and servers, installing operating systems, and configuring and testing network equipment. With a background at Diebold Nixdorf supporting retail sector equipment, he now applies hands-on technical knowledge to the build, setup, and quality of specialist systems.

Grant Shelley

General Manager

As General Manager, Grant oversees and supports each of our departments, ensuring all business functions work in unison to deliver the service our customers expect. He ensures correct company processes are adhered to whilst constantly improving our operational capabilities as markets and technologies evolve.

Mark Vickers

Head of Quality & Compliance

A Total Quality Management graduate with 20 years' experience across Automotive and Railway OEMs, Mark joined Impulse in April 2022. He works closely with all teams to drive continual improvement within our systems, processes, and products, delivering an enhanced level of quality to our customers.

Mateusz Ludynia

Quality Engineer

Mateusz recently achieved his master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Harper Adams University. Technically gifted with a deep passion for computers, he uses core engineering fundamentals to ensure the maintenance and improvement of all quality and assembly processes at Impulse.

Natalie Stevenson

Financial Controller

Natalie brings extensive experience as Finance Director and Company Secretary at a leading industrial power consultancy. She has successfully built finance teams from the ground up with a strong track record in group finance reporting and technical expertise in data migration, VBA, and ERP systems.

Liz Hill

Finance Manager

Managing the company's accounts and finance department since 2011, Liz is an integral part of ensuring our customers and suppliers are supported with first-line accounting support. She always makes sure the biscuit jar is topped up before she heads off on her next cruise.

Zoe Barcroft

Customer Support & Office Manager

Zoe works closely with our sales, operations and accounts teams to ensure the service we offer meets the high standards our customers expect. She regularly speaks directly with customers, ensuring ongoing project support and is always available to address any questions or issues.

Annette Starkey

Accounts Supervisor

Annette has been with us since May 2019 and is integral to our accounts team and wider business. As well as processing all invoices, payments and receipts, she works tirelessly to support our nominated charities and ensures all accounting work is completed to our deadlines.

Liz Gosling

Accounts Administrator

Liz joined us in 2024 as an Accounts Administrator. Working closely with Annette and Liz Hill, she manages accounts payable and receivable, reconciles statements, and ensures the accuracy of financial records. Her blend of professional knowledge and life experience makes her a valuable asset to Impulse.

Karen Williamson

Senior Customer Support Advisor

Karen has been with us since April 2022 and offers daily support to our Account Managers by setting up new accounts, processing technical data and orders. She is on the front line dealing with client queries and is always willing to offer support to other departments when needed.

Claire McGorman

Customer Support Advisor

Claire joined Impulse in March 2025, bringing a wealth of experience in customer service and administration. She works closely with our Account Managers, setting up new accounts, processing orders, and efficiently dealing with customer queries.

Oliver Hazeldean

Logistics Co-ordinator

With over 13 years at Impulse, Ollie manages logistics, internal shipping, warehousing, and goods-in and goods-out functions. He ensures stock and customer orders are managed efficiently and dispatched to meet project deadlines — if he were a stick of rock, he'd have Impulse running through him.

Andy Philips

Warehouse Operative

Andy joined Impulse in July 2021 and ensures all parcels coming in and going out are correct and packaged securely. He maintains clean, organised warehouse areas with an emphasis on components and stock being stored in the correct locations at all times.

Matt Mycock

Marketing Manager & Data Lead

Having joined Impulse in 2023, Matt manages our Marketing team and is tasked with analysing and tracking market data. He examines trends and discovers insights through business intelligence to influence our product and marketing strategies, helping to position our brands to maximum effect.

Louisa Rochford

Content Marketing Manager

Louisa joined Impulse's Marketing team in 2023, bringing experience writing for online publications and working within a digital marketing agency. She manages content across our various channels and supports the ongoing development of our brand identity.

James Gane

Product Manager

James works closely with our sales and marketing teams and our manufacturing partners worldwide. Responsible for maintaining product content on our websites and communicating the latest technology developments to our technical and sales teams, he keeps us at the cutting edge of our industry.

Jess joined Impulse at the end of 2022 as a Customer Support Advisor before transitioning into the Marketing team in 2024. She brings a customer-focused approach and fresh perspective to our digital marketing efforts, helping to improve how customers find and engage with Impulse Embedded across various channels.

Rob joined Impulse in 2011 as Sales Director and was appointed Managing Director in April 2025. With extensive experience in technology, business strategy, and industry demands, he now leads the overall management and strategic direction of Impulse, ensuring we continue on our next stage of growth.
