Bridge and Navigation Systems
Networking devices on the bridge interconnect critical navigation, radar, AIS (Automatic Identification System), and communication systems. Managed Ethernet switches and routers ensure real-time data transmission between these systems and the ship’s central control. Devices must be highly reliable and resistant to shock and vibration, as any network failure could compromise navigation safety.

Shipboard Surveillance and Security
Networking infrastructure is central to IP surveillance systems used for onboard security, cargo monitoring, and access control. PoE switches power and connect cameras located throughout the vessel, from cargo holds to decks and perimeter zones. Data must be transmitted securely and without interruption, even in low-bandwidth or high-interference conditions.
Offshore Platform Communications

Standard industrial switches may not be tested against marine-specific risks like salt mist corrosion or bridge-level EMI restrictions. For critical systems, always use DNV- or IEC 60945-certified networking devices.
