The Moxa EDS-305 Series provides rugged, unmanaged Ethernet switching in a compact 5-port design with copper and fibre options. Models include all-RJ45 copper, copper with SC or ST multi-mode fibre, single-mode SC fibre (40 km or 80 km reach), and wide-temperature (-T) versions for harsh environments.
Designed for industrial reliability, the switches feature an IP30-rated metal housing and a built-in relay output to signal power failures or port-break events. This enables proactive maintenance in automation, utilities, and transport networks where downtime must be minimised. Broadcast storm protection can be enabled via DIP switches to stabilise network traffic during heavy loads.
Power resilience is provided by redundant dual 12V/24V/48V DC inputs with overload and reverse polarity protection. Compact DIN-rail and optional wall-mounting simplify installation in cabinets or distribution boxes. Each unit undergoes 100% burn-in testing and is certified for hazardous locations (Class I Div. 2, ATEX Zone 2), maritime (DNV-GL), and EMC/safety standards.
Operating ranges include Standard models from 0°C to +60°C and Extended models from -40°C to +75°C, making the series adaptable to both indoor panels and exposed outdoor environments. With proven MTBF figures, strong EMI/EMC immunity, and a 5-year warranty, the EDS-305 Series delivers long-term, maintenance-light service.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
