FCC Approved

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is an independent agency of the United States government that sets standards and governs the testing of conducted and radiated emissions such as EMI.


This product fully adheres to the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive 2002/95/EC, RoHS for short.  The directive covers the restriction of use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment and was adopted in February 2003 by the European Union.

Wide Temperature

These products utilise high quality industrial grade components enabling them to work in wide temperature environments. They are capable of running as low as -20C and as high as +70C.

USB 3.1

This system features the latest USB 3.1 ports for fast communication to peripheral devices.

Windows 10

This system can be supplied with Windows 10 configured to your specification, including disk partitioning, driver and software installations, along with Windows feature setup and application-specific configuration.


M.2, formerly known as the Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF), is a specification for internally mounted computer expansion cards and associated connectors. M.2 replaces the mSATA standard, which uses the PCI Express Mini Card physical card layout and connectors. Employing a more flexible physical specification, the M.2 allows different module widths and lengths, and, paired with the availability of more advanced interfacing features, makes the M.2 more suitable than mSATA in general for solid-state storage applications

MiniPCI Express

This system features one or more miniPCI Express (mPCIe) slots for board level expansion.

PCI Express

PCI Express, officially abbreviated as PCIe or PCI-e, is a high-speed serial computer expansion bus standard, designed to replace the older PCI, PCI-X and AGP bus standards.

Wide Voltage

These devices and systems have been designed to accept a wide voltage DC power input. This feature is desirable in the industrial market where a fixed voltage level or mains AC power cannot be guaranteed.

The Nuvo-8240GC is a rugged Edge AI platform designed to support two NVIDIA Tesla T4 GPU cards. The NVIDIA Tesla T4 GPU is the world’s most advanced inference accelerator card. Powered by NVIDIA Turing Tensor Cores, the T4 brings revolutionary multi-precision inference performance to accelerate the demands of the diverse applications of modern AI. Packaged in an energy-efficient 70W small PCI Express form factor, the T4 is perfect for inference acceleration applications at the Edge.

In addition to supporting dual Tesla T4 Graphics Processing Units the Nuvo-8240GC features a workstation-grade Intel C246 chipset that supports the Intel Xeon E or 9th/8th Gen. Core 8-core/16-thread processors, four SO-DIMM memory slots supporting up to 128GB EEC or Non-EEC DDR4 modules and an M.2 NVMe socket offering the fastest disk performance.  It also comes with one internal 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD slot and one hot-swappable 2.5" tray for easy HDD/SSD replacement with RAID 1/0 functionality. Furthermore, the Nuvo-8240GC has another two PCIe x8 slots (4-lanes) for expansion cards to extend functionality with add-on cards.
