The MGate 5123 is a robust industrial Ethernet gateway designed to convert CANopen or J1939 protocols to PROFINET network communications. Acting as a CANopen or J1939 master, the gateway facilitates seamless integration of existing devices into PROFINET IO networks, making it ideal for industrial applications such as factory and process automation. Its compact metal housing and DIN-rail mounting ensure durability in rugged environments.

The MGate 5123 features an intuitive web console for hassle-free configuration without requiring additional software. Security is enhanced with HTTPS encryption. It supports EDS file import and auto-scanning of CANopen devices, significantly reducing setup time and costs. Additionally, software-configurable termination resistor settings for CANbus eliminate the need for manual adjustments.

Advanced diagnostic tools, including LED indicators, protocol diagnostics, and a traffic monitor, streamline troubleshooting and minimise downtime. The status monitoring feature alerts PLC/DCS/SCADA systems to device disconnections, enabling swift operator intervention. The fault protection function ensures pre-defined actions are executed during host disconnections, maintaining system reliability.
