The IGT-20 is an industrial-grade ARM-based gateway. Unlike a System on Module (SoM) that's commonly provided as a barebone component, the IGT-20 is based on the AM3352 from Texas Instruments' Sitara AM335x family and ships as a ready system pre-installed with Debian. The industrial nature of the IGT-20 means it complies with standard industrial certifications, such as CE/FCC and shock and vibration. Another distinction the IGT-20 has over SoM is that it accepts a broader range of power inputs, ranging from 8V to 25V DC (SoM usually accepts 5V DC). The IGT-20 has I/Os compatible with a range of industrial-grade sensors. It features one USB 2.0 port, one 10/100M LAN port, and two configurable COM ports (RS-232/422/485). In addition to the ports mentioned, four built-in isolated digital input channels accept discrete signals from various sensors or buttons/switches. There are also four built-in isolated digital output channels to control actuators and indicators. Communication-wise, the IGT-20 has a miniPCIe slot and a USIM holder, allowing it to transmit acquired data and system status via 3G, 4G, or WiFi (miniPCIe WiFi module). There is an opening on top of the IGT-20 for users to mount the SMA connector of the wireless module. In terms of storage, it has dual microSDHC slots, one internal and one external. This design allows users to separate system/user data and can expedite in OS deployment for mass production. As a gateway, users can use six programmable status LED indicators and two control buttons to operate the IGT-20 without a keyboard or mouse. In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
