Elkhart Lake processors give 80% performance increase over previous Apollo Lake Atom processors POC-40 has a footprint similar to the size of a credit card, but still provides rich I/O POC-400 is DIN-rail mountable, with two 4K DisplayPort interfaces and internal M.2 E-key socket Neousys' latest ultra-compact fanless computers feature the new 10nm Atom x6000E Elkhart Lake processors which offer 1.8x the CPU performance over previous Apollo Lake Atom processors. The POC-400 is the successor to the POC-300, with the POC-40 taking POC's ultra-compact footprint to an extreme while still maintaining the rich I/O and other industrial features our customers have come to expect from the POC series. The POC-40 for IoT Gateway and Edge Computing The POC-40 is just 112mm tall with a base footprint similar to the size of a credit card, making it almost half the size of the previous generation POC-200. The POC-40 maintains a rich I/O set of interfaces whilst also featuring the latest-generation Elkhart Lake Atom x6211E 1.3GHz dual-core processor, with a burst frequency of 3.0GHz all in a low 6W TDP package For system memory, the POC-40 impressively supports up to 32GB of DDR4-3200 memory via its single 260-pin SODIMM socket. As an industrial-grade computer, the POC-40 can be DIN-rail or wall-mounted, supports a wide -25°C to +70°C operating temperature and 12V to 20V DC power input plus MIL-STD-810G certified vibration protection. The DIN-rail mounting allows for easy access to the POC-40's extensive offering of high-speed I/O including a DisplayPort supporting 4K UHD resolutions at 60 fps, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, two USB3.1 Gen1 ports, two USB2.0 ports, four COM and optional isolated digital I/Os for industrial communication and control. Internally the POC-40 has an M.2 3042/3052 B-key socket for 5G and 4G cellular connectivity plus an M.2 2230 E-key for Wi-Fi providing wide-area wireless comms for industrial and mobile gateway applications. The POC-400 for Machine Vision and Industrial Automation The POC-400 features the Intel Elkhart Lake Atom X6425E 2.0GHz quad-core processer with a burst frequency of 3.0GHz in a 12W package. In addition to the extra cores, the POC-400 is DIN-rail mountable and features a plethora of high-speed front access I/O interfaces such as three 2.5Gigabit Ethernet ports, all with IEEE 802.3 PoE+ capability. These PoE+ ports offer higher data bandwidth for devices such as NBase-T cameras and are backwards-compatible with standard Gigabit Ethernet. Other features include two 4K DisplayPort interfaces, two USB3.1 Gen1 and two USB2.0 ports, four COM ports for general industrial applications, a wide input voltage of 8V to 35V DC and an impressive operating temperature of -25°C to +70°C ideal for harsh environments. Like the POC-300 before it, the POC-400 features Neousys' proprietary MezIO interface, a flexible expansion system that allows users to add additional functions like isolated digital I/O, RS-232/422/485 serial, USB3.1 Gen1 ports, ignition control, storage and 4G/5G connectivity. Furthermore, the POC-400 comes with an internal M.2 E-key socket that can be used for Wi-Fi and allows the installation of Google TPU or an Intel Movidius VPU modules to transform it into a compact Edge AI platform.
