The Advantech ASMB‑928 is a robust E‑ATX server board built to power next-gen industrial, AI, and telecom applications. Designed around the latest Intel Xeon 6 processors, it uses the LGA‑4710 socket to support high‑performance workloads with TDPs up to 350 W, ensuring strong computational capability for demanding server duties. Equipped with 16 DDR5‑6400 RDIMM slots, the ASMB‑928 can scale memory capacity to meet intensive database, virtualisation, or AI inference demands. This extensive memory infrastructure supports redundancy and ensures data-intensive operations run smoothly. For expansion, it offers four PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, two additional PCIe 5.0 x8 slots, and an MCIO x8 (Gen 5) interface, a comprehensive slot configuration for GPUs, networking, and I/O accelerators. Whether adding high‑end GPUs, storage controllers, or custom modules, this board provides maximum flexibility.
The networking capability includes dual 10GbE and dual 2.5GbE ports using Intel X710 technology, enabling high‑speed connectivity ideal for data centre, telecom, or SD‑WAN environments. A dedicated IPMI port simplifies out‑of‑band management and remote diagnostics. Storage connectivity is just as versatile, with five SATA 3 ports for bulk drives and integrated storage, plus M.2 compatibility for ultra‑fast NVMe SSDs perfect for caching, OS, or high-performance storage functions. Engineered for industrial reliability, the ASMB‑928 maintains stability in operating environments from 0 °C to 60 °C, making it suitable for edge and telecom deployment. With its rich I/O features, high‑speed expansion, and dual‑band networking, this board is a strong foundation for compute-intensive, always-on server setups.
