EDS-408A-EIP provides eight 10/100 copper ports with EtherNet/IP pre-enabled, plus EDS files, AOIs and FactoryTalk® faceplates to speed commissioning. Turbo Ring/Chain delivers < 20 ms recovery (at 250 switches), with RSTP/STP available for mixed vendor loops. Layer-2 controls—IGMP snooping/querier, VLANs, quality of service, bandwidth limiting and port mirroring—keep traffic orderly and predictable. Manage via web/CLI/Telnet/serial; clone configs with ABC-01. A hardware DIP switch streamlines the setup of rings. The IP30 metal build supports DIN-rail/wall mounting, dual 12/24/48 VDC (9.6–60 VDC) inputs, alarm relay and protective features. Operating temperature: -10 to 60°C.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.

Our customer was looking for ways to improve efficiency and reliability, and reduce operation costs and overheads for their manufacturing facility. The initial step in this transformation was to add additional monitoring and measurements to several areas of their facility to allow the collection of usage data from older machinery for analysis. The machinery to be analysed would be located in many areas of the complex, with some sitting in concrete outbuildings far from the source of the main network.
