The Moxa EDS-G2008-ELP is an entry-level unmanaged switch designed to deliver reliable Gigabit connectivity in industrial environments. Equipped with eight 10/100/1000BaseT(X) copper ports, the switch provides fast Ethernet performance for automation, surveillance, and control applications where simple, cost-effective solutions are required.
To enhance flexibility, the EDS-G2008-ELP includes DIP switches that allow operators to enable or disable Quality of Service (QoS) and broadcast storm protection (BSP). This ensures traffic stability during periods of heavy load while maintaining critical data flow. Store-and-forward switching, auto-negotiation, and auto MDI/MDI-X support simplify deployment across diverse industrial devices.
Built with an IP40-rated plastic enclosure, the EDS-G2008-ELP offers compact and lightweight construction while still providing the durability required in industrial conditions. It is tested for vibration, shock, freefall, and EMC resilience, ensuring reliable performance in the field. Power is delivered via a single 12/24/48 VDC input (9.6–60 VDC range) with reverse polarity and overload protection.
The switch supports DIN-rail or optional wall mounting, making it easy to integrate into control panels or distribution boxes. With a 100% burn-in test process and certifications including UL, EN, and CE, the EDS-G2008-ELP provides assured reliability for industrial networking.
Operating in Wide -10°C to +60°C conditions, it is an excellent unmanaged Gigabit solution for cabinet-based or sheltered environments that require robust, cost-efficient networking.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
