The UC-4400A Series is a family of compact Arm edge computers built for secure data acquisition, protocol conversion, and reliable telemetry in harsh industrial sites. Powered by a quad-core Cortex-A53 at 1.6 GHz with 4 GB LPDDR4 and 16 GB eMMC, each model balances efficient compute with rich connectivity: two auto-sensing Gigabit Ethernet ports, up to four software-selectable RS-232/422/485 ports, and up to two CAN 2.0A/B ports with 2 kV isolation. Four DI and four DO lines simplify integration with plant I/O.
Wireless options scale to the application. UC-443x variants accept LTE Cat 4 (mPCIe) and Wi-Fi 6E (M.2 E-key) accessories, while UC-445x variants add an integrated 5G Sub-6 NR modem with dual SIM and optional Wi-Fi 6E. GNSS, dual SIM, and antenna connectors are available on wireless-ready models for resilient connectivity and location awareness.
Security is baked in with TPM 2.0, secure boot, disk encryption, intrusion detection, security diagnostics, and compliance with IEC 62443-4-2 SL2. The metal IP30 enclosure supports DIN-rail or wall mounting. Power is redundant dual-input 9–48 VDC with reverse-polarity protection.
Designed for long service life, the series runs Moxa Industrial Linux (MIL3, Debian 11, kernel 5.10) with long-term support to 2031, one-step recovery, and dual-system failback. Environmental ratings cover -40 to 75°C for non-wireless, -40 to 70°C with cellular, and -30 to 70°C with Wi-Fi, alongside CE/FCC/UL approvals. From energy and EV charging to water, transport, and IIoT gateways, UC-4400A delivers a secure, adaptable platform at the edge.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
