The DFI WL051 Pico-ITX single board computer combines compact design with the power of 8th Gen Intel Core i7/i5/i3 and Celeron 4000 processors, delivering up to 40% improved performance and energy efficiency compared to the previous generation. Built on the 14nm Whiskey Lake-U architecture, it features up to 4 cores and a low TDP of 15W, making it ideal for energy-efficient edge computing applications.

Designed for machine vision, factory automation, and IoT gateways, the WL051 excels in performance and reliability for edge computing environments. Its 2.5" Pico-ITX form factor makes it perfect for space-limited installations, such as AGVs, AMRs, and other IoT deployments. The board supports up to 32GB DDR4 memory and offers dual independent display outputs with DP++/HDMI and eDP, catering to versatile visualisation needs.

Key features include rich I/O capabilities such as 2x GbE LAN ports, 2x USB 3.1 Gen 2, 2x USB 2.0, and 1x COM port, and additional expansion options via 1 M.2 E key and 2 M.2 B keys for additional connectivity and storage. Its power-efficient design and advanced capabilities ensure optimised performance for edge and IoT applications, providing a scalable solution for modern digital transformation challenges.

Impulse can supply the WL051 embedded board configured and tested in our UK engineering facility with your choice of memory, storage and OS. We can also design and assemble a complete system solution using the WL051 board along with a suitable chassis, screen and components to your exact specification.
