DFI's WL551 is a 3.5" single-board computer powered by 8th Gen Intel Core™ i7/i5/i3 and Celeron 4000 processors. Built on a 14nm manufacturing process, it offers up to 40% improved performance compared to the previous generation, enhancing processing speed and machine vision capabilities in factory automation. The system features up to 4 cores with a low-power TDP of 15W, making it ideal for edge computing applications.
The WL551 supports dual independent displays via DP++/HDMI and 1 LVDS or eDP (optional), with 4K/2K resolution support. It offers multiple expansion options, including 1x M.2 M Key, 1x M.2 B Key, and 1x M.2 E Key for flexible connectivity. The board also comes with rich I/O, including 3x GbE ports, 1x COM port, 4x USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, and 2x USB 2.0 ports. Additionally, it benefits from a long CPU life cycle support of up to 15 years, based on Intel’s IOTG roadmap, ensuring extended operational reliability.Impulse can supply the WL551 embedded board fully configured and tested in our UK engineering facility with your choice of memory, storage and OS.
