The ADAM-6050 is designed for industrial Ethernet-based remote I/O, offering a dependable solution for distributed monitoring and control. The currently stocked ADAM-6050-D1 model provides 12 digital inputs for wet or dry contact signals and 6 sink-type digital outputs, making it suitable for interfacing with switches, sensors, alarms, relays and other field devices in industrial automation systems. With 10/100Base-T(X) Ethernet, 10 to 30 VDC power input and 2,000 VDC isolation protection, it is built for reliable operation in demanding environments.
The module supports Modbus/TCP, TCP/IP, UDP, RESTful, MQTT and SNMP, helping it integrate into modern industrial control networks, remote monitoring platforms and connected automation systems. It also supports peer-to-peer communication and Graphic Condition Logic (GCL), allowing straightforward control tasks to be handled directly at module level without relying on a separate controller for every simple action. This makes the ADAM-6050 Series well suited to remote alarm monitoring, event-driven switching, distributed machine I/O and general edge automation duties.
For harsher installations, the stocked ADAM-6050-D1 version benefits from an extended -40 to 70°C operating temperature range, helping it suit industrial and outdoor applications where wider environmental tolerance is required. Additional features such as user-defined Modbus addressing, watchdog protection, and support for counter and frequency input functions add flexibility for machine builders, panel builders and industrial system integrators looking for a compact Ethernet remote I/O module.
