The Moxa EDS-208 Series provides reliable unmanaged Ethernet connectivity in a compact 8-port form factor, designed for entry-level industrial networking applications. Available in all-copper models or with an additional fibre port (multi-mode SC or ST), the series offers flexibility for both local device connections and short fibre backbones.
Supporting IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, and 802.3x standards, the switches feature auto-negotiation, full/half-duplex operation, and MDI/MDI-X auto-sensing for seamless integration of a variety of devices. Broadcast storm protection can be enabled to maintain stable performance even under heavy traffic loads.
Housed in an IP30-rated plastic enclosure, the EDS-208 Series is lightweight and compact, with DIN-rail mounting for easy installation. LED indicators provide clear visibility of power and link status for simplified troubleshooting. Power resilience is provided through a 12–45 VDC input range with overload and reverse polarity protection.
Operating from -10°C to +60°C, the switches are rugged enough for deployment in harsh industrial environments. Shock, vibration, and EMC immunity further ensure reliability. With MTBF values exceeding 400,000 hours and backed by a 5-year warranty, the EDS-208 Series delivers stable, long-term service.
Explore the EDS-208 Series for simple, plug-and-play unmanaged Ethernet switches with copper and fibre options for industrial networks.
