The Advantech EKI-2526M is a rugged unmanaged Fast Ethernet switch designed to extend industrial networks with dual fibre uplinks. It features 4x 10/100 Mbps RJ45 copper ports and 2x 100 Mbps multi-mode fibre ports, enabling flexible deployment in environments where both copper connectivity and fibre backbones are required. The multi-mode fibre uplinks support transmission distances up to 2 km, making the switch ideal for bridging between control cabinets and distributed equipment across the plant floor.
Designed for ease of use, the EKI-2526M supports Auto MDI/MDI-X, auto-negotiation, and full/half-duplex modes across all copper interfaces. Each port provides LED indicators for link and activity monitoring, simplifying network management and troubleshooting.
Reliability is built in with redundant 12–48 VDC dual power inputs, an integrated relay output for alarm notifications, and safeguards including reverse polarity and overload current protection. The IP30-rated metal enclosure provides mechanical strength, while DIN-rail and wall mounting options ensure installation flexibility.
With a compact footprint and an operating temperature range of -10°C to +60°C, the EKI-2526M is engineered for use in demanding environments. High MTBF ratings provide assurance of long-term service life in applications such as automation, transportation, energy, and utilities.
By combining copper and multi-mode fibre, the Advantech EKI-2526M offers a cost-effective solution for extending network reach, improving noise immunity, and maintaining dependable industrial communication.
