The EKI-9510G-2G Series provides rugged unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switches designed for railway, rolling stock, and heavy transport networks. With 10 M12 X-coded ports, including eight standard Gigabit ports plus two Gigabit ports with Bypass function, these switches ensure stable, high-bandwidth communication while maintaining network reliability during failures or maintenance events.
Built on Advantech’s EKI-9500 railway platform, the units are certified to EN50155 and EN50121-3-2, meeting stringent railway standards for EMC, vibration, shock, and voltage stability. The Bypass function ensures continued data transmission even if the switch loses power, preventing downtime in mission-critical systems such as signalling, onboard CCTV, and passenger information.
The series is offered in two models: the EKI-9510G-2GH, which supports 72/96/110 VDC inputs (50.4~137.5 VDC operating range), and the EKI-9510G-2GL, which supports 24/48 VDC inputs (16.8~60 VDC operating range). Both models feature dual redundant power inputs, overload protection, and reverse polarity safeguards for secure and reliable deployment.
Constructed with a robust aluminium IP40-rated enclosure, the switches are resistant to dust and physical impacts. They operate reliably from -40 to +70 °C and up to 95% humidity, making them suitable for harsh onboard environments.
With 8K MAC address support, jumbo frame handling up to 9 KB, and compact flat-form housing, the EKI-9510G-2G Series combines resilience, performance, and easy installation in space-constrained carriage or cabinet environments.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
