The EMB-APL3 long-life industrial mini-ITX motherboard supports the Intel Pentium N4200 or Celeron N3550 processor offering fanless, low power yet powerful computing on a long supply and support roadmap. The board also supports low power DDR3L memory up to 8GB, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports and six serial ports. Its low profile design makes its ideal for true embedded applications. Impulse can supply the EMB-APL3 industrial mini-ITX motherboard fully configured in our UK engineering facility with your choice of memory, storage and a Microsoft Windows Embedded operating system. Impulse also offers a chassis design and assembly service providing fully deployable systems to your exact specification. Our customer required a modern, reliable long-lifetime panel PC solution for installation in an ROV control room. The main requirement of the project was to upgrade existing ROV control room hardware, while continuing to run a legacy piece of control software.
