CE is a mandatory standard for products on the market in the European Economic Area. By CE marking a product, the manufacturer ensures that the item meets the essential safety requirements set out in the applicable CE directive.
This product fully adheres to the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive 2002/95/EC, RoHS for short.  The directive covers the restriction of use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment and was adopted in February 2003 by the European Union.
These products use heatsink, heatpipe and extrusion technology to dissipate the heat generated by the system rather than using traditional fans thus improving system reliability and longevity.
These devices utilise a low-cost, low-power ARM-based processing platform making it an ideal solution for embedded applications.

These devices and systems have been designed to accept a wide voltage DC power input. This feature is desirable in the industrial market where a fixed voltage level or mains AC power cannot be guaranteed.
These devices have been designed to be mounted directly on to an industry standard DIN-rail.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is an independent agency of the United States government that sets standards and governs the testing of conducted and radiated emissions such as EMI.
These products utilise high quality industrial grade components enabling them to work in extended wide temperature environments. They are capable of running below -20C and above +70C and offer further protection than standard wide temperature rated products.

The cost-effective rBOX630 DIN-rail fanless embedded system utilises the low power RISC based module (i.MX 6) processor from Freescale and is designed to withstand temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C for use in harsh environments and industrial automation applications.

The rBOX630 features four RS-232/422/485 serial ports, dual LAN ports, 8 x digital input channels, 8 x digital output channels, two CAN bus interfaces and 4GB eMMC storage onboard for booting.  It also supports a SDHC socket for storage expansion (easy to access) in a compact, IP30 protected, industrial-strength robust case.

Because of ARM's low power consumption architecture, the rBOX630 generates very little heat whilst being operated. Two power inputs minimize the risk of data loss in the event of a single power failure. Furthermore. it's vertical DIN-rail form factor makes it easy to install the system in a small cabinet or panel.
