The Advantech RSB-4220 is a rugged 3.5" RISC SBC based on the TI Sitara AM3352 Cortex-A8 processor running at 1.0GHz. With 512MB onboard DDR3 memory, 4GB eMMC NAND flash, and 4MB SPI NOR flash, it is designed for reliable embedded and industrial computing.
Connectivity includes dual Gigabit Ethernet, 5x serial ports (1x RS-232/422/485 + 4x RS-232) with ESD protection (contact 4kV, air 8kV), and 1x CAN bus for industrial networking. It also integrates 4x isolated GPIO inputs and 4x isolated GPIO outputs, offering safe and flexible I/O for industrial control. Expansion is supported via a mini-PCIe socket for wireless or modem modules and an SD slot for storage expansion.
For graphics, the RSB-4220 features 18-bit LVDS with up to 1366 x 768 resolution, making it suitable for lightweight HMI or automation interfaces. The board supports Linux BSP, making development and deployment easier for edge and industrial projects.
With low power consumption (3.3W max), fanless design, +12/19/24V DC input, and operating temperatures of 0°C to 60°C (extended -40°C to 85°C), the RSB-4220 is well-suited for smart grid control, industrial machinery automation, IoT gateways, and rugged field devices.
Contact us today to configure the RSB-4220 for your automation or industrial IoT project.
