The eBOX100B is a compact, IP40-rated, fanless embedded PC built for reliable operation at the edge. Powered by the Intel N150 quad-core SoC (Twin Lake) with low 6W TDP and 8GB LPDDR5 onboard (16 GB by project), it delivers efficient performance in a small 155 x 110 x 60 mm footprint. Its wide -40 to +70°C operating range and 9–36 VDC input with ignition control make it a solid choice for vehicles, kiosks and control panels exposed to temperature swings and unstable power. The chassis uses aluminium extrusion with heavy-duty steel for robustness and easy heat dissipation, with front-access I/O to simplify servicing in tight spaces.
I/O is well balanced for industrial and IoT workloads: two 2.5GbE LAN (Intel I226-V) for high-speed networking, six USB (2 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 + 4 x USB 2.0) for peripherals, four software-selectable RS-232/422/485 with auto-flow for legacy equipment, and an 8-channel TTL digital I/O for simple signalling. Dual lockable HDMI outputs provide Full HD dual-display support for dashboards, HMI and signage. A watchdog timer (1–255 s) adds resilience for unattended deployments. According to the specifications table on page 2, you also get TPM 2.0, a reset button, a remote switch connector and chassis grounding for cleaner installs.
Storage and expansion are flexible. There’s an M.2 Key M 2280 slot (PCIe Gen3 x4) for NVMe SSDs plus a 2.5" SATA bay (up to 15 mm) for additional capacity or image swaps. For wireless and fieldbus options, the system provides an M.2 Key E 2230 (USB 2.0 + PCIe x1), a full-size mini-PCIe slot with SIM interface, and multiple antenna punch-outs. OS support covers Windows 10 (21H2), Windows 11 IoT and Linux for straightforward integration with existing stacks.
The eBOX100B is engineered for the realities of the field. Power protection includes OVP, UVP, OCP, SCP and reverse protection; shock and vibration have been validated to IEC 60068 and MIL-STD-810G (with SSD). Certifications include CE, FCC Class A and UKCA. Optional wall, DIN-rail and VESA kits simplify mounting, and the packing list (see page 3) includes practical touches such as a lockable HDMI cable and an M.2 thermal bracket to maintain SSD performance over time. If you need an ultra-compact, wide-temperature, front-I/O edge box with fast networking and plenty of legacy connectivity, the eBOX100B fits neatly into modern and brownfield deployments alike.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
