The EDS-405A-EIP-T extends the EIP feature set to harsh environments with an operating range of −40 to 75°C. It offers five 10/100Base-T(X) ports for connecting controllers and devices at the edge, and integrates Turbo Ring/Turbo Chain for sub-20 ms failover to keep machines running. RSTP/STP and ring coupling provide familiar, standards-based resilience across your wider industrial backbone.
Commissioning is quick: manage via web GUI, CLI, Telnet or serial console, leverage the Windows utility, and use ABC-01 for rapid configuration cloning. Advanced traffic control includes IGMP snooping, IEEE 802.1Q and port-based VLAN, QoS, bandwidth management and port mirroring. EtherNet/IP is enabled by default for seamless tie-in with Rockwell ecosystems; Modbus TCP is also supported for mixed-protocol sites.
Designed for dependable field deployment, the switch includes dual 12/24/48 VDC inputs (9.6–60 VDC operating), reverse-polarity/overload protection, alarm relay and DI, and a robust IP30 metal enclosure ready for DIN-rail or wall mounting. RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
