The EDS-510E-3GTXSFP is a flexible 10 Port platform mixing copper access with three combo Gigabit ports that can be RJ-45 or SFP, allowing fibre rings and copper uplinks without redesigning the cabinet. For high availability, Turbo Ring/Turbo Chain provide <20 ms failover, with RSTP/MSTP for multi-vendor networks. V-ON™ delivers millisecond-class multicast recovery so video and I/O updates remain consistent during faults.
Traffic engineering tools include 802.1Q/port-based VLAN, QoS (802.1p/ToS/DiffServ), IGMP v1/v2/v3 snooping/GMRP, LACP port trunking, bandwidth control, RMON and LLDP. OT integration is straightforward with EtherNet/IP, PROFINET IO-Device and Modbus TCP, and fleet operations are streamlined with MXconfig/MXstudio, web GUI, CLI, and Telnet. A USB Type-A port supports config backup and firmware updates; a USB console (Type-B) simplifies on-site setup.
Security aligns with IEC 62443 practices: 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, HTTPS/SSH, SNMPv3, sticky MAC/Port Lock, NTP authentication and broadcast storm protection. Hardware resilience features dual redundant DC inputs (12/24/48/-48 VDC, 9.6–60 VDC), reverse polarity/over-current protection, alarm relay, and digital input. The IP30 metal housing supports DIN-rail or wall mount, operating from -10 to +60 °C and tested to EN 61000-6-2/-6-4, IEC 61850-3/IEEE 1613, EN 50121-4, NEMA TS2, ATEX/CID2 and marine standards.
