The Moxa EDS-G2005-EL Series provides simple and reliable unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet connectivity in a compact, industrial-grade form factor. With five 10/100/1000BaseT(X) RJ45 ports, these switches are ideal for entry-level applications that require straightforward Ethernet connections without the complexity of configuration.
Engineered with a rugged IP40-rated metal housing, the EDS-G2005-EL Series is built for industrial use. A compact size ensures easy installation in space-constrained enclosures, while DIN-rail mounting is standard and wall-mounting kits are available as accessories. DIP switches allow users to enable Quality of Service (QoS) and Broadcast Storm Protection (BSP) functions for improved network stability.
The switches are compliant with PROFINET Conformance Class A, making them suitable for PROFINET-based automation networks. Each unit is designed with robust EMI/EMC protection, overload current protection, and reverse polarity protection to enhance reliability in demanding environments.
Standard models operate from -10°C to +60°C, while -T models extend the range to -40°C to +75°C, ensuring dependable service in both controlled and extreme conditions. With an MTBF exceeding 5.2 million hours and backed by a 5-year warranty, the EDS-G2005-EL Series delivers long-term stability.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
