The EKI-2526S is a four port copper and two port single-mode SC fibre unmanaged Ethernet switch from Advantech. Protected by a high quality IP30 rated metal enclosure, the EKI-2526S is ideal for industrial networking applications. In true industrial style, the EKI-2526S can operate in a variable -10°C to +60°C temperature range and can accept a wide 12V to 48V DC power input. for added stability, the EKI-2526S features two power inputs that fails over when main power source is interrupted or lost. Our customer required a modern, reliable long-lifetime panel PC solution for installation in an ROV control room. The main requirement of the project was to upgrade existing ROV control room hardware, while continuing to run a legacy piece of control software.
