The Advantech EKI-2526S is an unmanaged Fast Ethernet switch that integrates copper and single-mode fibre interfaces for industrial networks. With 4x 10/100 Mbps RJ45 ports and 2x 100 Mbps single-mode fibre uplinks, it provides long-distance, noise-immune connectivity up to 30 km, making it suitable for wide-area applications and electrically noisy environments.
This switch supports auto-negotiation, Auto MDI/MDI-X, and full/half-duplex modes, ensuring flexible deployment and compatibility across a variety of industrial devices. LED indicators are provided for power, link, and activity monitoring, giving operators instant visibility into network status and performance.
To maximise reliability, the EKI-2526S includes redundant 12–48 VDC power inputs with reverse polarity and overload protection, alongside a relay alarm output for immediate event notification. Its robust IP30-rated metal enclosure, combined with DIN-rail and wall-mount options, ensures secure installation in industrial cabinets and field deployments.
Designed to perform in harsh environments, the switch operates across a -10°C to +60°C range and has been tested to EMC, shock, and vibration standards. Its high MTBF rating further guarantees dependable long-term service in critical applications such as utilities, transportation, automation, and energy infrastructure.
The EKI-2526S is an ideal solution for extending industrial Ethernet networks with secure, long-distance fibre links while maintaining ease of deployment and operational reliability.
