The EKI-2708G-PI is an unmanaged industrial Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for high-reliability networks in challenging environments. Equipped with eight 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 ports, each supporting IEEE 802.3at/af PoE+, the unit delivers up to 30 W per port to power devices such as IP cameras, access points, or VoIP systems. With a maximum PoE budget of 240 W (at 48 VDC), it ensures dependable service for multiple powered devices simultaneously.
Engineered with redundant 12–48 VDC dual power inputs and a relay fault output, the EKI-2708G-PI provides improved system availability and real-time alarm notifications. Advanced protection features such as overload current protection, reverse polarity protection, and LAN surge protection up to ±6 kV guarantee robust performance in mission-critical installations.
The compact IP30-rated metal enclosure is suitable for both DIN-rail and wall-mount installations, with a pull-down DIN kit included for easier integration into varied control cabinets. Designed to withstand vibration, shock, and freefall, the unit operates reliably across a wide −40 to 75 °C temperature range and 5–95% relative humidity.
Switching capacity reaches 16 Gbps, with a data forwarding rate of 11.9 Mpps and jumbo frame support up to 9K bytes, making the switch well-suited for high-bandwidth applications. Comprehensive certifications including EN 50121-4 for railway trackside and NEMA TS-2 for traffic control further confirm its industrial-grade reliability.
With plug-and-play operation, a 5-year warranty, and ruggedised design, the EKI-2708G-PI delivers cost-effective, high-performance Gigabit networking with integrated PoE+ for critical industrial and outdoor environments.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
