The ICO500-518 is a modular expandable embedded PC based on the latest Intel Core (Kaby Lake-U) processor family. with its rugged and modular enclosure allowing for expansion for I/O, comms and fieldbus, the ICO500-518 is ideal for a range of edge computing and industrial applications. The ICO500-518 utilises a proprietary range of PIM plug-in I/O modules to extend the base unit's I/O capability. These modules include expansion for isolated serial ports, isolated CANBus, digital I/O and Gigabit Ethernet ports enabling the ICO500-518 to be used in a vast array of applications and industries. Impulse can supply the ICO500-518 fully configured in our UK based engineering facility with your choice of memory, storage and a Microsoft Windows Embedded operating system.
