The Advantech MIC-785-00A1 is a configured MIC-785 platform that delivers a robust, deployment-ready foundation for industrial edge computing, vision processing, and machine control where reliability and expansion flexibility matter. As part of the MIC-785 family, it is based on the AMD AM5 architecture with support for Ryzen Embedded 7000 and 9000 series and EPYC 4005 processors, enabling high frequency compute performance and strong graphics capability in a compact fanless system.
For integrators building control cabinets or space-constrained installations, the MIC-785-00A1 keeps all primary connections on one side for clean cable routing, while the IP40 dust-proof enclosure and fanless design support dependable operation in harsh industrial environments. The platform supports dual-channel DDR5 5200 memory up to 96GB and provides multiple storage options including two 2.5 inch SSD or HDD positions plus an NVMe M.2 slot, with RAID 0, 1, and 10 support for performance or redundancy.
This variant includes strong display and I O provisioning for real-world automation systems: two HDMI ports plus one DisplayPort support up to three independent displays, ideal for multi-screen HMIs, inspection stations, or operator plus maintenance views. Networking is handled by two Gigabit Ethernet ports, and peripheral connectivity includes six USB 3.2 Gen2 ports. Industrial communication is supported via two DB9 serial ports with RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 capability, with expansion available to increase serial count (up to six) where legacy equipment connectivity is required.
Expansion options include one mini PCIe slot plus an M.2 2242 B-key slot suitable for add-ons such as cellular connectivity, and compatibility with MIC-78 series i-Module expansion modules to configure a complete edge computing solution. A programmable watchdog timer, 12 to 36VDC input range, and optional DIN rail or wall mounting complete a practical industrial package.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
