Advantech UNO-238 is a compact, fanless IoT edge computer designed for industrial automation, machine connectivity, and reliable edge analytics in space-constrained environments. Built on 8th generation Intel Core i processors, it is available with Intel Core i3-8145UE, i5-8365UE, or i7-8665UE options, delivering scalable performance from efficient gateway duties through to demanding edge computing workloads. With support for up to 32 GB DDR4 memory across two sockets and Intel UHD Graphics 620, UNO-238 is well suited to HMI, local visualisation, and multi-device control.
Connectivity is a major strength. UNO-238 features dual Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 3.2 ports, and two configurable RS-232/422/485 serial ports for integrating PLCs, sensors, legacy equipment, and industrial peripherals. For display and commissioning, it provides both HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2, supporting up to 4K output for clear dashboards and control screens. An 8-bit GPIO enables simple control and sensing, with CAN bus 2.0 available on request for vehicle, robotics, and industrial network applications.
Engineered for harsh sites, UNO-238 supports -20 to 60 °C operation with airflow, high humidity tolerance, and strong shock and vibration resistance to IEC standards. A threaded, lockable DC jack improves power reliability in cabinets and mobile installations, while TPM 2.0 and a programmable watchdog timer enhance security and uptime. Flexible mounting options include stand mounting with rubber stoppers plus an optional DIN-rail kit, making deployment straightforward in control panels and factory cells.
With onboard 32 GB eMMC storage and M.2 expansion for NVMe or SATA plus wireless modules (LTE and WiFi with SIM support), UNO-238 is ideal for smart factory retrofits, remote monitoring, intelligent transport systems, and industrial IoT gateways that need rugged performance in a small footprint.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
