The Axiomtek UST520 Series is a rugged, fanless in-vehicle embedded system designed for intelligent surveillance, mobile NVR, and edge AI applications in buses, lorries, public transportation, and specialised fleets. Powered by socketed 14th/13th/12th Gen Intel Core i9/i7/i5/i3 or Celeron processors with the Intel R680E chipset, it delivers desktop-class performance for video analytics, ANPR, passenger counting and real-time monitoring at the edge.
Engineered for harsh transportation environments, the UST520 operates reliably from -40 °C to +70 °C and supports 9V to 60V DC input with smart ignition for safe power-up and shutdown linked to the vehicle’s ignition status. Comprehensive power protection (over-current, over-/under-voltage and reverse polarity) and E-Mark/R118 certifications make it ideal for road and rail deployments.
For high-density IP camera installations, the UST520 offers up to 16x 2.5GbE PoE/PoE+ ports via RJ-45 or M12 X-code connectors with a 120 W PoE budget, simplifying cabling and powering cameras directly from the system. Flexible storage with 2 or 4 swappable 2.5" SATA bays and RAID support is perfect for long-duration video recording. At the same time, M.2 and mini-PCIe expansion enable 5G/LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS and additional I/O to support mobile connectivity and fleet-wide data backhaul.
Housed in an IP40 aluminium extrusion and heavy-duty steel chassis with proven vibration endurance, the UST520 can be wall-mounted in tight cabins and equipment racks. Extensive I/O, including HDMI, VGA, USB 3.2, isolated digital I/O and dual CANBus, simplifies integration with existing vehicle systems, sensors and HMIs. This makes the UST520 Series a powerful, future-proof platform for intelligent transportation systems, connected fleets and on-board surveillance where reliability, performance and connectivity are critical.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
