The Advantech ADAM-6521 Series are compact, unmanaged industrial Ethernet switches designed for reliable and cost-effective network expansion. Each model provides four 10/100Base-TX copper ports and one 100Base-FX fibre port, enabling flexible connectivity between standard Ethernet devices and fibre-optic backbones.
The ADAM-6521 supports an SC multi-mode fibre port, while the ADAM-6521/ST uses an ST multi-mode connector. For longer-distance transmission, the ADAM-6521S offers a single-mode SC fibre port supporting distances of up to 15 km. This versatility makes the series well-suited for factory automation, semiconductor production lines, inventory management, and other industrial applications where both copper and fibre links are required.
Engineered for harsh industrial environments, the ADAM-6521 Series supports a wide operating voltage range of 10–30 VDC, includes 3,000 VDC surge protection, and offers 4,000 VDC ESD protection on Ethernet ports. The rugged IP30-rated enclosure allows for flexible DIN-rail, wall, or stack mounting, while six LED indicators simplify on-site troubleshooting with clear status for power, link activity, and transmission speed.
Operating reliably from -10°C to +65°C, these switches are designed for mission-critical use where downtime is not an option. With low power consumption (max. 3–4 W depending on the model) and MTBF figures exceeding 1,150,000 hours, they deliver dependable long-term service.
Explore the ADAM-6521 Series unmanaged switches today to find the right balance of copper and fibre connectivity for your industrial network.
