CE

CE is a mandatory standard for products on the market in the European Economic Area. By CE marking a product, the manufacturer ensures that the item meets the essential safety requirements set out in the applicable CE directive.

RoHS

This product fully adheres to the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive 2002/95/EC, RoHS for short.  The directive covers the restriction of use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment and was adopted in February 2003 by the European Union.

UL

Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is an independent product safety certification organisation based in the United States. UL develops standards for products, materials, components, assemblies, tool and equipment, mainly dealing with product safety.

Fanless

These products use heatsink, heatpipe and extrusion technology to dissipate the heat generated by the system rather than using traditional fans thus improving system reliability and longevity.

Wireless Connectivity

These devices have built in wireless interface controllers enabling them to connect to a wireless network.

Wide Voltage

These devices and systems have been designed to accept a wide voltage DC power input. This feature is desirable in the industrial market where a fixed voltage level or mains AC power cannot be guaranteed.

FCC Approved

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is an independent agency of the United States government that sets standards and governs the testing of conducted and radiated emissions such as EMI.

Wide Temperature

These products utilise high quality industrial grade components enabling them to work in wide temperature environments. They are capable of running as low as -20C and as high as +70C.

NEMA TS2

NEMA TS2 is a standard for traffic control assemblies, such as traffic lights, emergency road condition and pedestrian signs. The standard is designed for manufacturers to meet or exceed a set of minimum requirements. The ARK-2250S is a powerful and expandable embedded computer for NVR applications built on the 6th Gen. Intel Core i7/i5 "Skylake" processing platform. It also supports the latest DDR4 2133MHz memory up to 32GB and has multiple graphics interfaces including HDMI, VGA and an optional HDMI/DP or DVI-D interface.  It has exteme graphics performance, supporting up to 1080p resolution with 120fps video enocding and decoding.

The system also supports three USB3.0 ports, three RS-232/422/485 serial ports, four digital inputs, four digital outputs and two Gigabit Ethernet ports. A second layer can be added to the ARK-2250S base unit to provide a range of additional network ports and storage options via the range of ARK-R expansion modules.

The ARK-2250S comes with plenty of certifications for industrial and transportation NVR applications including MIL-STD-810G for shock and vbration and NEMA-TS2-2016 for in-vehicle and ITS applications.
