The Moxa EDS-G205 Series is an entry-level unmanaged Gigabit switch family designed to provide cost-effective, high-bandwidth Ethernet connectivity in industrial environments. Each switch includes four 10/100/1000BaseT(X) RJ45 copper ports and one combo slot supporting either 10/100/1000BaseT(X) or 100/1000BaseSFP transceivers. This combination allows flexible deployment with both copper and fibre interfaces, including support for long-distance fibre modules.
Built-in relay output provides immediate alarms for power or port-break events, helping operators respond quickly to failures. DIP switches allow users to enable or disable broadcast storm protection, jumbo frame support (up to 10 KB), IEEE 802.3az energy-efficient Ethernet, SFP speed switching, and port-break alarms. Together, these features make the EDS-G205 Series versatile in handling both performance and energy efficiency requirements.
The switches are powered via redundant dual 12/24/48 VDC inputs (9.6–60 VDC operating range) with reverse polarity and overload protection for resilience in critical applications. The rugged IP30-rated metal housing withstands shock, vibration, and freefall, and the compact form factor allows DIN-rail or wall mounting for easy integration into industrial panels and cabinets.
Certified for hazardous locations (ATEX, Class I Div. 2), railway (EN 50121-4), and maritime (ABS, DNV-GL, LR, NK), as well as tested for EMC and safety standards, the EDS-G205 Series ensures reliable operation in harsh and mission-critical environments.
Models are available in Wide -10°C to +60°C and Extended wide -40°C to +75°C versions, giving users deployment flexibility across indoor and extreme outdoor applications.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
