The Moxa EDS-G205A Series is a range of unmanaged full Gigabit Ethernet switches designed for industrial networks that require both high bandwidth and Power-over-Ethernet capability. With five Gigabit ports, including four IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ ports providing up to 36 W per port, these compact yet rugged switches simplify network deployment by combining data and power delivery in one device. Supporting jumbo frames up to 9.6 KB, the EDS-G205A Series is well-suited for demanding applications such as video surveillance, IP telephony, and high-data industrial control systems.
Equipped with redundant 12/24/48 VDC dual power inputs, the switches deliver reliable performance in critical environments. Intelligent PoE management features such as power consumption detection, classification, and protection against overcurrent and short circuits ensure both efficiency and safety. With robust EMI/EMC compliance, IP30-rated metal housing, and DIN-rail or wall-mount installation options, the EDS-G205A Series is designed to withstand harsh industrial conditions.
Standard models operate from 0°C to +60°C, while -T wide-temperature models extend resilience from -40°C to +75°C. All units undergo 100% burn-in testing to guarantee long-term reliability. With compact dimensions and smart power budget management (up to 144 W total at 48 VDC), the EDS-G205A Series offers a cost-effective, high-performance solution for powering and connecting critical PoE devices in smart transport, energy, and automation systems.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
