The EKI-9508G-P Series is a family of unmanaged industrial Gigabit PoE switches designed for railway and rolling stock applications. Featuring 8 x 10/100/1000 Mbps M12 X-coded ports, the series ensures secure, vibration-resistant connections ideally suited for harsh mobile environments.
All ports support IEEE 802.3af/at PoE, supplying 15.4 W (PoE) or 30 W (PoE+) per port. The EKI-9508G-PH delivers up to 90 W total power budget, while the EKI-9508G-PL supports 60 W total, enabling flexible powering of IP cameras, access points, and VoIP devices in train and trackside systems.
The series complies with the EN50155 railway standard and EN50121-3-2 EMC requirements, ensuring resistance to voltage variations, surges, ESD, vibration, and shock. Dual power input design further enhances reliability: the PH model accepts 72/96/110 VDC, while the PL model supports 24/48 VDC. Both include reverse polarity and overload protection for safer long-term operation.
Compact and robust, the IP40-rated metal housing is designed for wall mounting in tight cabinets and railway carriages. Operating from -40 to 70 °C, the switches guarantee reliable performance in extreme conditions. With 8K MAC address table support and jumbo frames up to 9 KB, the switches deliver efficient Layer 2 performance for high-bandwidth industrial applications.
Slim, rugged, and fully certified for railway use, the EKI-9508G-P Series provides cost-effective Gigabit connectivity with integrated PoE for mission-critical rolling stock and transport infrastructure networks.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
