Wide Temperature

These products utilise high quality industrial grade components enabling them to work in wide temperature environments. They are capable of running as low as -20C and as high as +70C.

Fanless

These products use heatsink, heatpipe and extrusion technology to dissipate the heat generated by the system rather than using traditional fans thus improving system reliability and longevity.

RoHS

This product fully adheres to the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive 2002/95/EC, RoHS for short.  The directive covers the restriction of use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment and was adopted in February 2003 by the European Union.

CE

The VDX-6124-V2 cost effective ISA plug-in single board computer offers extended temperature specification as standard (-20C to +70C) utilising the low power Vortex86SX 300MHz processor. It's fanless design ensures the module needs only 4W of power and runs off a single 5V supply.

The VDX-6124-V2 comes with on-board DDR2 memory support up to 256MB and incorporates the PC/104 or PC/104+ bus for easy board I/O expansion if required. Alternative additional ISA support of up to 20-slots is offered using a ISA backplane which the SBC plugs in to. Through the ownership of the CPU design the VDX range offers true longevity of supply and support industrial roadmaps essential in the embedded and industrial market.
