The 2108 is a single port embedded USB to RS-232 serial adapter intended for mounting directly to a PCs chassis, eliminating the need for external converters and providing a clean, professional installation. The board is USB bus powered, capable of data rates to 460K bps, and installs inside a low profile computer in a spare bracket location. The 2108 includes a low profile PC bracket and a 14" USB header cable (Item# CA260) that connects to most motherboard USB box header connectors and uses only one USB port per serial port. If you need a standard PC bracket, order 2108S. Other USB header cable options are available on a custom design basis.

RMA

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).

When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.

Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
