The ADAM-6251 is an intelligent Ethernet to 8-channel analog input module from Advantech. The ADAM-6251 Ethernet remote I/O module has many distributed control capabilities including peer-to-peer communication and Graphical Condition Logic programmability. The peer-to-peer communication on the ADAM-6251 is enhanced further with the use of its dual Ethernet ports, which can auto-bypass to ensure continuous network communication if power to the ADAM-6251 fails. The ADAM-6251 supports all the popular industrial communication protocols including Modbus/TCP and UDP. Furthermore, the ADAM-6251 can be controlled through HTTP/XML requests, allowing for quick and easy prototyping.
