The AIMB-289HF-LDA2 is the A2 orderable model listed in the AIMB-289 datasheet, offering a compact Mini-ITX motherboard platform for embedded and industrial computing applications. Designed around the Intel H610E chipset, it supports 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Intel Core processors, as well as Intel Core 200S processors, making it suitable for applications that need a balance of modern CPU performance, compact dimensions and rich industrial I/O.
This model supports dual-channel DDR5 memory up to 5600 MT/s across two 262-pin SO-DIMM sockets, with maximum capacity up to 96GB. This gives the AIMB-289HF-LDA2 a strong memory base for Windows, Ubuntu and industrial application workloads. The datasheet lists Windows 10, Windows 11, Ubuntu 22.04 and Ubuntu 24.04 image support options, making it suitable for both new deployments and projects that need operating system flexibility.
Display connectivity includes one HDMI output, one DisplayPort output and one LVDS/eDP interface. The ordering table lists LVDS/eDP as 1/(1), meaning LVDS is the standard configuration with eDP supported as a BOM option. This makes the board useful for systems that combine an embedded panel with external display outputs, such as HMIs, operator terminals, compact industrial PCs and signage systems.
The AIMB-289HF-LDA2 includes three 2.5GbE LAN ports, four COM ports, two SATA III interfaces, one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen2 port and four USB 2.0 ports. Industrial I/O also includes 8-bit GPIO, audio with line-out and mic-in, and a watchdog timer with programmable reset intervals from 1 to 255 seconds or minutes.
Expansion is a key difference for the A2 version. The AIMB-289HF-LDA2 provides one M.2 E-Key socket, plus one M.2 M-Key or B-Key co-designed socket, with M-Key as the listed A2 default and B-Key available by option. The M.2 B-Key USB 3.2 signal can share with one rear USB 3.2 interface, so the final configuration should be checked against the required expansion layout. A PCIe x4 Gen3 slot is also included for add-in card support. With TPM 2.0, optional amplifier support, 12V to 24V DC input and 0°C to 60°C operating temperature, the AIMB-289HF-LDA2 is a practical Mini-ITX board for compact embedded systems requiring triple display, 2.5GbE networking and A2-generation M.2 flexibility.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
