The ARK-2252-S9A1 is the higher-performance Intel Core Ultra 7 model in the ARK-2252 fanless embedded box PC range. It is designed for industrial edge applications that need more CPU cores, stronger graphics capability and higher AI performance in a compact, rugged and fanless platform. Typical applications include edge AI inference, machine vision, smart manufacturing, automation control, robotic support, industrial monitoring and data processing close to the machine.
This model uses the Intel Core Ultra 7 358H processor, listed with 16 cores, a frequency range from 1.9GHz up to 4.8GHz and AI capability up to 180 TOPS. Compared with the Ultra 5 model, it offers more compute headroom for demanding workloads such as multi-camera analysis, AI-assisted inspection, real-time monitoring and systems running multiple industrial applications at once. Memory support includes two CSODIMM sockets and up to 128GB capacity, with DDR5 6400 or 7200 MT/s support listed for the Ultra 7 configuration.
The ARK-2252-S9A1 supports three 4K displays using two HDMI 2.1 TMDS ports and one USB Type-C DisplayPort Alt Mode output. This allows the system to support operator displays, live vision feeds, diagnostics and dashboard interfaces from a single embedded platform.
I/O includes four Intel i226V 2.5GbE LAN ports with Wake-on-LAN, six serial ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports with cable locking, two USB 2.0 ports, one USB4 Type-C port, 8-bit programmable DIO, two CANBus 2.0 ports and audio. The six serial ports include two RS-232/422/485 ports and four RS-232/485 ports, giving the system useful flexibility for industrial devices, controllers, sensors and legacy serial equipment.
Expansion is provided through one M.2 B-Key socket for 5G, AI or iDoor modules, one M.2 E-Key socket for Wi-Fi and one M.2 M-Key 2280 socket for PCIe Gen5 x4 NVMe storage. Optional PoE modules are available for LAN3 and LAN4, although PoE cannot coexist with the internal USB 2.0 security dongle or iDoor module. With 12V to 24V DC input, TPM 2.0, watchdog timer, aluminium construction, wall, VESA or DIN-rail mounting, and -20°C to 60°C operation, the ARK-2252-S9A1 is a strong fanless box PC for higher-performance industrial edge AI systems.

RMA
In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
