The Moxa AWK-1161A Series industrial wireless access point (AP) addresses a growing demand for faster data transmission and supports multiple clients using IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) technology. This access point is designed for industrial use, complying with strict standards for temperature, power input, and environmental resistance, ensuring reliable performance in challenging environments. The AWK-1161A supports both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands and is backwards compatible with older Wi-Fi standards, for integration into existing networks.
Key features include DFS channel support to avoid interference, Wi-Fi 6 OFDMA for enhanced network efficiency, and TWT technology for better device power management. Its rugged design, including antenna isolation and an optional extended wide operating temperature range of -40 to +75°C makes it ideal for a range of industrial applications and settings.
