The BOXER-8251AI compact Edge AI PC from Aaeon features the NVIDIA Xavier NX SOC bringing supercomputing performance to the Edge in a small form factor system-on-module. The NVIDIA Xavier NX is built on a 384-core Volta GPU with 48 Tensor cores offering acceleration of more than 10x its widely adopted predecessor the Jetson TX2 in a SOM the size of the Jetson nano. The Xavier NX is also paired with a 6-core NVIDIA Carmel ARM v8.2 64-bit CPU, 8GB 128-bit LPDDR4 memory, 16GB eMMC storage and a peak power usage of 15W.

The BOXER-8251AI has a footprint only slightly bigger than a credit card and is equipped with 4x USB3.2, 2x RS-232 DB9 ports, 1x Gigabit Ethernet and optional Wi-Fi & Bluetooth via M.2 E-Key 2230 socket with two antenna connectors all supported by NVIDIA Transfer-Learning-toolkit for Intelligent Video Analytics and Computer Vision applications. Using these purpose-built, pre-trained AI models can be customised with their own data to create accurate models for quick deployment at the Edge. 

Furthermore, thanks to Aaeon's experience in providing rugged embedded PCs for industrial use, the BOXER-8251AI tiny embedded PC can operate in temperatures of -20°C to +50°C making it useful for a variety of industrial applications.
