The EDS-611-T is the wide-temperature variant of the EDS-611, designed for industrial environments requiring reliable operation in harsh climates. Like the base model, it supports 11x ports: up to 8x modular Fast Ethernet interfaces and 3x built-in Gigabit combo ports (RJ45/SFP), making it an adaptable solution for a wide range of network topologies.
Two expansion slots allow flexible combinations of copper and fibre modules, including bypass-protected and IEEE 1588 PTP-enabled options. The hot-swappable design ensures uninterrupted service during upgrades or maintenance. With support for modular fibre interfaces, the switch can serve as a reliable aggregation point for long-distance industrial backbones.
Network resiliency is ensured with Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<20 ms recovery), plus industry-standard RSTP, STP, and MSTP. Security and management include IEEE 802.1X authentication, HTTPS, SSH, TACACS+, RADIUS, SNMPv3, and ACL-based controls. Traffic features such as VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, and LACP port aggregation guarantee predictable performance even under heavy loads.
Built for extreme environments, the EDS-611-T operates across -40 to 75°C and is housed in a compact IP30 enclosure for DIN-rail or wall mounting. Certified to EN 50121-4 for railway applications, UL 508 for industrial control, and Class I Division 2/ATEX for hazardous locations, it is ideal for transportation systems, power utilities, oil and gas, and other mission-critical deployments where temperature resilience and network reliability are essential.

In order to process returned goods, Impulse Embedded Limited uses an internal RMA system. Before returning goods for any reason, please contact Impulse Embedded Limited (returns@impulse-embedded.co.uk) to request an RMA number. Please confirm the reason for the return of the goods, providing the Serial Number, Product Code, and Impulse Embedded Limited Invoice Number (if known).
When returning goods, please ensure they are suitably packed so as to avoid damage, are in the original packaging, along with all accessories, with the outer packaging marked with the RMA number. It is recommended that you use a signed delivery service, as goods lost in transit are not the responsibility of Impulse Embedded Limited.
Please do not write the RMA number on the goods or on the original packaging. Impulse Embedded Limited may refuse returned goods and return them if they arrive without an RMA number, or not in the original packaging.
