The EDS-619 is a compact, modular managed switch providing up to 19 ports for industrial automation and transport networks. It supports 16x Fast Ethernet ports through four modular slots and 3x built-in Gigabit combo ports (RJ45/SFP), allowing tailored copper and fibre configurations.
Hot-swappable CM-600 series modules enable maintenance and upgrades without downtime, with options for multi-mode and single-mode fibre, bypass, and mixed copper/fibre layouts. This flexibility makes the EDS-619 suitable for industrial backbones requiring scalable port combinations and high availability.
Network resilience is achieved with Moxa’s Turbo Ring and Turbo Chain (<20 ms recovery), plus standards-based RSTP, STP, and MSTP. Security includes IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS/SSL, SSH, RADIUS, TACACS+, ACLs, and SNMPv3. Advanced traffic tools include VLANs, QoS, IGMP snooping, and link aggregation.
Certified to EN 50121-4 for railway applications, UL 508 for industrial safety, NEMA TS2 for traffic control, ATEX and Class I, Division 2 for hazardous areas, and with maritime approvals (ABS, DNV, LR, NK), the EDS-619 is a versatile solution for critical infrastructure.
With dual 12/24/48 VDC redundant power inputs, IP30 housing, and DIN-rail/wall-mount options, the EDS-619 provides reliable connectivity in factory automation, ITS, power utilities, and oil and gas networks operating between 0 and 60°C.
